Hall is a good QB and could be the #2 again next year but Romney settled in MUCH better/quicker against tougher competition than Hall did against USF. In fact, I'm not sure I ever really saw Hall get comfortable against USF. Not a shot at him, he played the way you'd expect a backup to in their first start. Romney on the other hand didn't play like a first time starter, the kid was great from snap 1.
I'd lose what faith in our coaches they gained for what they did on Saturday if they give the ball to Hall. Romney played as if he was Wilson having tons of snaps under his belt.
I don't understand how some are saying Hall has earned it... by waiting a whole 6 games to start?
It's Romney and it's not even close in my mind.
