Here’s a thought or different take on the possibility of a new DC. Harrell has had success wherever he’s coached. First high school for 7 years, then DB Coach (Western Carolina?) then DC at The Citadel (5 years), now DC at Kennesaw. Kennesaw State is 6-1 with only loss to Kent State (26-23).

He is known throughout the Southeast in FCS football circles (think recruiting connections from high schools throughout The Carolinas, Georgia, TN, Alabama. The Citadel is a military school and Harrell is a disciplined task master. Led SoCon conference 5 years running in turnovers while at The Citadel.

Should Kalani leave his buddy comfort zone and go after a “rising star” from the FCS???

Does a new DC have to be from FBS level or LDS or already connected to BYU in some manner? Just some thoughts outside the box.
