I didn't claim BYU has successfully completed a season ranked higher than any other G5 team, but thanks for arguing something I never claimed. I think everyone other than you recognized my argument is that the G5 teams won't support adding BYU to the mix to compete for their lone guaranteed NY6 slot (or playoff spot if the playoffs get expanded). Why would they voluntarily add more competition for their limited access point.
