Wish BYU football would look at this kid - added Jr Year highlights
He was just listed as a finalist for player of the year in Arizona with the description of "One of the best two-way players in the state, Wood's big runs on offense and tackles on defense has fueled the Hawks into the 6A playoffs. He is game changer on both side of the ball." AZ Republic named him 6A player fo the week a couple of times.
He is undersized and as a result under recruited, but averaged 9.5 yds/carry. Comes from an awesome family and grew up a big BYU fan. Academically he will graduate in the top 1 percent of his class. Utah just invited him to attend a game and has started recruiting him.
