PS4 is the best version to get. As far as Digital vs Disk, there are some
legit pros and cons to both.

Disk: can resell/trade in.
You can also take the game to a friend's house to play.
Disks can also get lost or scratched.
Xbox and PS4 download the game to the HD to play either way, so it still takes up HD space.
You have to have the disk in to play, so you have to get up to switch games to play.

Digital: Can't Trade in or resell.
You have to log into your account and DL a game to play at a friend's house. It is a hassle and opens your account to be abused.
No disk to lose or get scratched. The game will work no matter what.
The game is Downloaded to the HD anyway, so this is a wash.
You don't need the disk in to play, you can switch between games from the comfort of your couch.

For our Wii U and PS4 I prefer Digital games. I like to be able to sit down and play without having to switch disks.
For our Switch I prefer the gamecards because we don't have to worry about them getting scratched, and some of our kids have, or plan on getting Switch mini's so it is better to have more games, although we have a number of digital titles, and that is nice. If you only planning on having one, digital is great because you don't have to worry about the tiny gamecards, especially in handheld mode.
