It's pure luck that he had even seen the field this year. It took two long-term injuries to the 1st/2nd string guys. He had a scholarship offer to another FBS team (Nevada). If he thought he could play in the NFL, I have to think he would be at Nevada right now. The fact that he came to BYU and has stayed tells me that his motivations are about things other than a pro football paycheck.
