One of the other suumer workers about my age had been working on the giant trash compacter that gets all the leftover cuttings tossed into it, where it produces large bales of cardboard trash. Evidently the machine jammed and he tried to unclog it without turning off the power. He got pulled in and killed. Terrible way to die, especially for a summer job. I never had to work on that machine, thank goodness.
