Titcomb basin is almost 15 miles in. When you work that hard to get somewhere, you expect there to be more solitude. There were quite a few people in the basin, and even more at Island Lake. Titcomb is stunningly beautiful, but do not expect much privacy. Other parts of the mountain are going to offer more solitude. It seems like a ton of the traffic at Elkhart Park is because this is an access point for Gannet Peak, the highest point in Wyoming. Aside from the beauty of the Titcomb basin area, you have a ton of peak bagger and yuppy types ascending Gannet. On top of the traffic, the fishing is subpar in this area. I am so glad I saw it once, but I will focus more on other areas unless I take friends or family back into the area.
