Advice on being smarter than mice when deploying mouse traps.
Turns out we have at least a couple mice in our house. I already killed one with a standard mouse trap, but the other(s) has been outsmarting me and snatching the peanut butter from the pressure pad of the mouse traps without triggering the pin releases. I’m assuming it’s just chilling on the edge and munching without stepping on the pressure pad. Last night alone it/they successfully ate three traps worth of peanut butter without triggering one. I have a few creative ideas I will try, but any pro tips on more successfully using standard mouse traps would be appreciated. Long ago I accepted I’m not the smartest guy, but these mice are making me feel extra dumb haha.

And don’t tell me to get a house cat!
