I hardly ever have normal interactions with people on online classifieds.
A guy messaged me a few weeks back about an item I was selling. I was traveling but got back to him a couple days later and responded it was still available. He never messaged me back, until this morning when he urgently asked me if it was still available (multiple questions marks and exclamation marks about how much he wanted it). He wanted me to meet him within the hour, but I was unavailable, so I set up a meeting a little later at 12:30. I messaged him just before I left telling him I was heading over. No response. I messaged him when I got there. No response. I waited 10 minutes then messaged him again asking if he was still coming. He very apologetically told me he misread the message and thought we were meeting at 2:30. He again urgently told me how much he wanted it still (!!!) and asked if we could still meet. I told him no worries, that we'd just meet at 2:30. No response. I messaged him a couple minutes before 2:30 telling him I was heading over, then thought better of it and told him to tell me when HE was heading over and I'd leave to meet him. No response. It's now 3 and he hasn't messaged me.

I don't understand how people have lost all sense of basic courtesy and consideration in online dealings like this. This type of thing is so typical. It's probably only one in every ten people I interact with on classifieds that gives me a normal, considerate interaction. Everybody else is so weird and flaky.
