The drive from the border to Rocky Point is my main concern. I have heard this exact same advice and this confirms it. Again, I am not too concerned about general safety in Rocky Point. Rocky point isn't Chihuahua. Chihuahua might as well be a war zone. Also, I speak Spanish and it makes things easier.
