We will have outperformed the odds, assuming we can handle SDSU and Hawaii.

That’s a good season, and yet...

Here’s the problem. I’m just not seeing the kind of coaching that’s going to be required to succeed in 2020 and 2021. The inconsistency is numbing. Beat Tennessee at their place and a good SoCal at home, but lose to bottom feeders USF and Toledo. Take out Boise and handle USU, but can’t put away Liberty.

OC’s that make mind boggling decisions. A DC who’s gameplans make it seem like he’s brand new to this game of football.


Unless a monumental collapse happens, Kalani is getting his extension. Seems like it would just be delaying the inevitable, though. There’s supposed to be coaching improvement after four years, not regression.
