It's pretty sad when you can't just enjoy what you achieved but have to dwell on what you didn't achieve. But I am right there. If we end up 9-4, I just don't know that I'll be happy because we could have been ranked in the Top 15 at 11-2.

It's hard to think about the wins last year against Arizona and Wisconsin, when we lost to NIU. I still can't believe we lost to UMass a couple years ago. Did it really happen?

The offense has shown improvement, but the defense continues to not just underwhelm but frustrate because the players are just so much better than the scheme they run.

It's really weird to see so much potential but so much inconsistency.

That said, I never once believed this team would be 2-7 at this point, or finish with a losing record, like so many predicted. I figured we'd go 10-3.
