to the NBA in Phoenix and other places. Yes, his NBA career wasn't what we were all hoping it would be. Yet he is beloved (even by ESPN guys who tweet about him). Part of that is his incredible Sr. year, but a lot of that is his incredible Sr. year at not a national school like BYU. With BYU having such a national reach (yes there are a lot of members of the Church in the country) it brings fans all over.
I'm sure there were many Duke fans in attendance at the game on Tuesday. None of them (at least that I could hear) cheered for Jabari. He is just a guy who came through the program.
