Since you’re fixated on the helmet grab, compare the two. Mason grabs the back
Of Garrett’s helmet and pulls a couple times. Garrett grabs the face mask yanks Mason off the ground, wrenches masons head around for a few seconds before yanking hard and finally ripping his helmet off (that was pretty tight and obviously took a lot of work to get off) that alone was pretty violent and could have caused injury, the two don’t even compare.

I don't think it's debatable, watch it again. He shouldn't have tried to rip his helmet off and he might deserve...
