It has turned into a hobby of sorts. They’re nothing special but they have been fun for me to make.

I am open to suggestions if you see something that would make them better.

As much as I enjoy hunting chukar this elusive bird has the ability to frustrate me like no other.

With it’s red eyes, seemingly mocking call, it’s affinity for the steepest and nastiest terrain and it’s ability to make even the best shooter look foolish, it’s nickname of “devil bird” is one that is well earned.

This was an unseasonably warm November day. The dogs worked hard and had a couple nice points. They were gassed by the time we were done.

I shot terrible.

The Chukar won the day.
