...when I see a fairly narrow use case for the designation. Are you planning on doing investment management at a Hedge Fund, Mutual Fund, or getting into wriring Wall Street equity or debt research? Seems like lot's of people get it who plan on doing Corporate Finance or other general Finance/Accounting disciplines and in industry most of us respect the designation because we know how hard it is to get, but don't care about it at all as it has very little application to your day-to-day job.
I'm not meaning to bag on it. Just curious if you actually have a clear purpose for going through the brain death that is the CFA.
