There appear to be a few categories of people when it comes to independence.
1) The group that thinks it’s better than being in the MWC simply because the MWC is completely pointless and gets zero respect. It’s little league and nothing matters these days more than being in the big league. I fall into this group for the record.
2) the group that thinks we simply can’t compete with the likes of Arizona State, Missouri, Cal, USC, Tennessee, Washington, Michigan State, Wisconsin, etc. Because we aren’t good enough, we should play crappier teams more on our level.
3) the group that hates the November games.
For group 3, this is the last year you have to worry about that so will you fall into group 1 or 2 now?
