I’m actually hoping Hawaii doesn’t play in the Hawaii bowl...
for multiple reasons. The main one is I’ve never rooted for BYU to lose a game in my life and really don’t want to have to do that. The other is it would be much easier for me and my family to go to a mainland bowl game. It would be cheaper almost anywhere on the mainland and a shorter trip. And of course it wouldn’t be on Christmas Eve.
Lots of reasons for me to hope that isn’t the match up.

I believe what it is, is that Hawai’i is guaranteed a berth in the bowl, if eligible, but they can still be chosen for
