Here's a plausible scenario that might keep the Big 10 out. Wisconsin beats Minnesota. Penn State beats Ohio State. Wisconsin then beats Penn State in the Big 10 championship game. Ohio State would be in a similar situation to Alabama, and everyone else has at least 2 losses.
