ALL and AML. ALL is much more treatable with better chances of success, very good chances in fact. What hospital are they in?

Our oldest daughter is a leukemia survivor, she had ALL and is considered by the oncologists to be cured. That is the second "C" word with cancer — not just remission, but Cured. And it can happen with leukemia.

We don't hear that very often with cancer, but with ALL it is very possible. Our daughter is over two decades into being cured now. No further treatment after she was six years old. No further checkups after she was eight yo.

I say this to offer some hope. Even if it is AML, that is much more treatable now than it was years ago. So there is much to hope for with Hyrum imo. Maybe you already understand this from talking with them and reading their posts.

I've already said a prayer for Hyrum and his family. Over the years of being treated, Darcy (our daughter) had not hundreds but thousands of prayers on her behalf. We have a huge extended family and of course they were all pulling for her to survive. Her name was put on temple prayer rolls many times.The power of prayer is real.

Thanks for sharing this story of their trial. They've been through a lot.
