will, if they win out (we’ll see). But if they don’t then no team in college football will have had a real trying road to the playoffs. For those in contention their toughest games are their conference games. And they play those every year. This would have been the year BYU should have gone undefeated. Oh well. Maybe college football as a whole will have another down year.

But mark my words, Utah will not end the year in the top 20. Even on this easy year. Conference championship and bowl games are probable losses. But Whit will certainly try since he has already stated he won’t be doing this forever. If by a miracle they make it then I’m sure he’s gone in the next couple years.
