Totally disagree
The BCS system was designed to keep the smaller programs away from ever having a chance at the NC.
Now with the playoff systems, it’s even harder. Even for the middle and lower tier Power 5s.
If you look at the history of who has played in the playoffs and those who are in legit contention now, you’ll see...they’re all elite, blue blood programs.
Except Utah.
That’s what makes Utah’s run so special. We have the chance to break new ground.
Again.
Actually having a chance to compete for a NC on the field.
That doesn’t happen without Utah’s ground breaking bowl wins prior.
