I have a friend who pays $25/ month for pet insurance that just picked up a $15k bill at WSU b/c of some neurological issue.

If you have a dog and can veto the crying pleas of your kids and wife, props!

We not only bought insurance, but the Wellness coverage for at least the first year (covers checkups and shots).
