Going to start weight lifting again, give me all your bro science tips
A little background, I started lifting when I was about 22 and lifted somewhat regularly for a few years. Then I decided I was tired of it and stopped completely. Haven't lifted in about 6 years now. Even when I was lifting I was a complete novice and knew very little about fitness. So just assume I know next to nothing about weight lifting which is pretty true.

Keep in mind that I care very little about actually getting stronger. I am about 80% caring about looking better and stronger and 20% about being stronger. Also, I do not want to get bulky. I have always been tall and somewhat thin (6'5" 220 right now) and want to keep that. I have friends who used to have similar frame to me and are now bulky and look they can barely touch their toes and I just don't think it's a good look at all.

The way I previously lifted I would lift about three times per week and each day would be chest/tris, biceps/back, and shoulders/legs. Or something like that. Usually I would do 4-6 exercises per muscle group then go on to the next one. I would do 3 sets of 10 reps for each exercise with the most amount of weight I could and I'd try to up my weight every other week or so or whenever I felt like I could. I would usually drink a protein shake on the days I lifted.

Anything I should do differently? Like I said, I'm a complete novice at this and am open to any and all suggestions.
