Seriously, some of his drop backs were about as mechanically sound as a HS kid. He took his steps back, stood there for a second, and then threw the ball while standing straight up. No hustle, quick release, proper poise, throwing motion, or active footwork.
If all he was trying to do was show that he could throw a football, not great or with any ounce of pressure, then mission accomplished. Otherwise, I saw nothing in his workout that impressed me for a guy wanting to get back into the league, even if only as a backup.
