Also it's BYU, lower you expectations this team will probably never be nationally relevant again. It is possible though and Kalani is the coach you need for that. He is the coach BYU needs, but they absolutely need better coordinators, if they can find good coordinators on both sides with kalani running recruiting and player development this program will get better. Also you had to extend him, if he does worse you fire him. If you didn't extend him no recruits would be coming next year, and next year could potentially be a great year for recruiting. If the head coaches didn't have to be LDS it might be a different story.
