When asked who has been the surprise of the team so far, Tavernari says Lee and Nixon. Fair enough because not much was expected out of them and they have been holding their own. Tavernari then says that Barcello and Seljaas are not playing well enough. He says Seljaas fouls too much and Barcello has not played as well since the first game (which BTW was a career night for Barcello).

JT is flat out wrong here. I think Barcello may be the MVP of the team so far. He is the best defender and sparks the team with his toughness. Seljaas is our best big man, but has been hit with foul trouble, with some really touchy fouls. TJ and Toolson may be the offensive stars, but Barcello and Seljaas are the real difference makers on the team.
