my wife does something similar with second hand stores->poshmark and realreal
She does it as a hobby with her sisters. One sister is very good at it. She has her network of friends at second hand stores that tell her when things come in and makes about $35k a year at it. Not bad for something she looks at as a fun hobby. I wish my wife was doing as well, but at least there is no drama. She hasn't had anyone upset with their purchase and gets gifts in the mail from happy people.
