who work 10% more make 40% more. You may not see an immediate increase in cash flow (unless it means you get a better bonus or a raise sooner than later) but your cashflow will increase faster over time.

Use this extra time and energy you have now and invest it in your career development. Become THE expert in your field. Read the source documents that no one reads... read the court cases that most only read the summary... go to more industry events... meet more industry people - find out what they're working on... what they're reading.. who they're following and watching... what new technologies/techniques do they find most promising.

Read read read more books, articles, blogs etc. And when I say read more books I don't mean the "you can do it" self help books... I mean text books, academic papers etc. Dive into the complex stuff.

Plus so much content is online... you can learn so much from videos people have posted. Harvard has all kinds of online class material available for free... Khan academy etc... To clarify... I'm not suggesting you watch videos youtube stars' posts.. I'm talking about going down the rabbit hole of watching/understanding what the nerds are posting. Watch the things with 250 views.... not the things with 25,000,000 views. (interesting Factoid though... the youtuber with the highest average view per posted video is a BYU guy.. Mark Rober.. he averages something like 27 million views per video)
