When I was a teacher I really liked getting a nice thank you card telling how I
had made an impact on a student's life. A nice gift card in there was a bonus. I kept the cards in a file and when I had one of those days and started wondering if it was all worth it, I'd pull out some of those cards and remember why I was there in the first place.
