need from a work laptop. It has all the processing speed and power to run complex applications which I'm not sure iOS would know what to do with.
For personal use, though... my laptop is like my office. It's my family control center. I use it for budgeting, planning, church assignments, photo organizing, etc. Personally, the Mac gives me a more respectable tool for all of these things, some of which I don't consider any less important than business. It is tailored to make everyday and family life easier. For all that I'm getting out of it at home, I felt it was worth the investment.
