Have one team in the playoffs. I would feel this way even if every other team had 3 losses or more. Why? Because if having been given the chance to prove you are the best team in your conference and you failed, you should not be able to take another conferences top team out of the running.

If you can't win your conference you shouldn't be playing for the national championship period. Even if you really believe you are the second best team.

Now if we allowed 8 teams in then yes, go ahead and put two SEC teams in. It's ridiculous that we don't have an 8+ team playoff but since we don't I think you have to have it be between at least 4 different conference opponents, especially given all the variables and politics that go into making the rankings.
