If I remember correctly, Yoeli called up Rose and asked him why he didn't get a scholarship offer. Luckily, Childs called Rose out on his lapse of judgement and ended up at BYU anyway. I think the assumption that LDS kids can't or won't live a code of honor is exactly what makes people think BYU is holier than thou in many ways.

There are tons of students who want structure and high standards that not LDS. We should push back against this line of thinking whenever we hear it.
