He coaches his team from emotion - like the father of a family
the team responds accordingly. When they can all get dialed-in emotionally, and execute like crazy, it compensates for the poor game planning, in-game adjustments etc.
When the emotion isn’t quite there - then the poor coaching isn’t enough to compensate.
