Wrong. The coaching change shuffle happened right after Toledo and USF
Kalani realized that the ship was sinking and made some wholesale changes prior to Boise State. That's when the 5 game win streak happened.
Kalani losing his job was a concern, but he would have made those changes in a non-extension year too. Coaches adapt when they see things aren't working. Bronco had to do this more than once with his coaching staff.
