The difference is BYU's receivers couldn't get open against SDSU. They were one on one all day, but the lack of running game and pressure forced Wilson to get rid of the ball before he could scramble. I agree that Wilson was too impatient and should have dinked and dunked SDSU until things loosened up. The game is also very different if BYU makes the first field goal and if Tuaki hadn't gone into prevent at the end of the first half.
