Granted, the transitive property argument is one of the lamest in all of sports but any time down the road that a Ute fan annoyingly brings up thier epic 2019 season, we can always even more annoyingly engage in the following dialogue with them.

BYU fan: so would you say that the 2019 Utah football team was the best in school history?

Utah fan: well, 2004 and 2008 were pretty great, but yeah, the 2019 team was probably even better, given that we pretty much dominated a P5 conference that year.

BYU fan: would you also say that the 2019 Utah football team was the best team ever from the state of Utah?

Utah fan: well, it was definitely better than any team than BYU ever had. Even if you look at BYU's best seasons, like 1984 or 1996, they didn't dominate the WAC or the MWC the way Utah dominated the Pac in 2019.

BYU fan: yet Utah didn't go undefeated in 2019. The dropped a conference game to USC. And didn't that same USC team lose to a very mediocre 7-5 BYU team that same season?

Utah fan: I hate it when BYU fans bring that up.
