This is a better answer than mine. I'm not discounting the pros of the BYU education and experience. But,
if he were really good enough to make a big time team with the chance to be developed into a possible NFL player, I'd encourage him to explore other possibilities.
Fortunately for you all, my kids either a) don't care about sports, or b) are very small so this won't ever be a decision I or they will have to make.
