Especially when it comes to dating/social scene. It really does make a huge difference. I was single, and the options were not good at all. Moved back to Utah and it was still rough post-school. I'm not saying has to get married super young, just saying the options at BYU really are that much better than elsewhere. And that part of life is pretty huge from 22-25.
