than in years past.  I think the Administration and maybe the BOT are actually happy with a 6-6 or 7-5 season and a bowl game invite as long as the coaches can try and keep the players in check with the honor code and out of the police blogs. Plus avoid any negative national news about the team.  The fact is BYU football is kind of boring.  It is just not fun to go to the games anymore and I see no improvement on the horizon with the high academics, Independence and the stupid honor code. Recruits understand the limits BYU has and many football kids I know are not that interested in going to the Y anymore.

I lost my 2 older boys and daughter as being BYU fans about 2 years ago, they have chosen other schools to follow and have even traveled this year to see them play. (at least they did not chose Utah or Utah St.!).  All 3 have no desire to go to the games with me anymore and honestly I do not blame them and for this reason and the items mentioned above, I will not be renewing season tickets next season for the first time in 30 years. 

I do not hate BYU and I never will but when it gets to the point that I dont even care that they win or lose then I know I have lost my fanhood.  I wish BYU could turn it around but I just don't see it happening anytime soon.
