Here is what I know:
AAC members will be getting ~$7M from TV revenue alone. Very close to where we are now and where we will be most likely be. It isn't an insurmountable stretch.
Bowl games, according to this above article the AAC would be getting around $16.26M ($81.32M divided by 5) divided 12 ways = $1.35M and BYU (all independents) are getting less than $1M.
So we now have AAC teams getting ~$8.35M and BYU is at $8-9M(?).
I'm not going to add WWC money because that doesn't effect football. We made the choice to be independent and lose conference money, so that is a hole we are digging. Add that money to the AAC team of choice and we may be a bit behind. Obviously, add in merchandise, tickets, concessions, etc. and BYU most likely pulls ahead (specifically for football).
But this just isn't great and we are not heads and tails better than G5 programs.
