Contrary to reports on Sunday, USC has not fired Clay Helton and it'e beginning to look like he won't be fired this year. As for Washington, they immediately promoted their defensive coordinator Jimmy Lake to head coach.

None. He has a retirement plan built into his Utah contract covering 10 years.
