The limitation is they can’t admit anyone they want. It’s easier for football
Players to get in but still challenging and they only get relaxed admissions for so many.
They do benefit from NAPS the Prep school that gets athletes and other Naval Academy candidates a year of getting ready Academically for the Naval Academy. It’s somewhat controversial and seen as a waste of resources.
