Here's the reality, it's a very concerning trend:
- SDSU - up by 9 with 12 minutes left and up by 7 with 6 minutes left. Our win probability was over 80% from 15:00 to 3:20 in the second half.
- HOU - up by 7 with 4:20 remaining. Our win probability was over 75% from 15:00 to 3:00 in the second. If we're being honest, with Toolson's turnover, we should have lost.
- BSU - we scored 2 points in the last five minutes of regulation (on two free throws). We again went 2:40 without scoring in OT.
- Utah - up by 16 with 13 minutes left, with a 97% win probability. We had a 75%+ win probability with a 4 point lead and possession as late as 2:35.
This team has shown a propensity to wilt in crunch time, even with large leads. They simply can not score when they absolutely need to.
