Is there a meddling owner in the NFL that is actually successful? I'm trying to
think of a case where the owner in the NFL liked to play GM and that actually ended being a good thing.
The best thing Jerry Jones could do is let somebody else make some of his decisions for him.

Jerry drafted Aikman and Emmitt Smith. He took over in 1989, their last SB win
