I’m happy about it of course but it’s still stupid. They’re doing it for the Pac12 Network that no one watches. But it kills them. Oregon could very likely be in the playoff with an 8 game conference schedule. And the conference would get a chance to challenge themselves against better competition and expand their reach.

The most insular conference only makes themselves more obscure to the average fan with the 9 game conference schedule.
