Anybody heard of bulldozer parents? It’s the new term I’m hearing for helicopter
parents that carve the way for their kids at every step of the way.

We recently had a person interview at our company (a large engineering firm) and his parents came with him to the interview and insisted on joining every part of it. They said it was to make sure he would be getting an offer for the full value they feel he brings to the company. Needless to say, he was not offered the position.

Do parents actually think that behavior is ok now and actually benefits their kids?
