$500-$750K price range. The big trade off, not surprisingly, seems to be proximity to the resorts vs. price (closer is higher). So:
* What parts of town are more or less desirable for that price range?
* How big a deal is ski in / ski out for renters? There are a couple ski in places in that range, but they're smaller (2 BR) & it's not clear it really helps them pencil out from a cash flow standpoint since you're paying a premium. You obviously get more for your money further out (space, bedrooms). So, does it really work for the ski experience to not be within walking distance from the mountain? How bad is it to have a 10 minute drive? For example, the Jordanelle side looks better for price (around Brown's Canyon Road, off 248 East of 189), but is the distance an out of towner would end up hating?
* Does anyone really rent in the area outside ski season or is that pretty much a lost cause?
* Any parts of town expected to increase in value due to investments / new resorts coming online in the next few years?
