I would never trade a BYU win vs. Idaho St. for a utah loss. But I be darned if I won't enjoy watching those smug haters get their arrogant rears handed to them!
One is NOT mutually exclusive to the other. We carried them for decades and as an institution we respected them enough to let it be widely known that we were a package deal. Whereas at the first sign of an advantage over BYU, utah tried to step on our throats.
I've been spit on, sucker-punched in a crowd, had my kids screamed at in their faces and had ice balls thrown at my kids, ice chunks and lemons thrown at my head and had a drink dumped on me not to mention having my wife cursed out in the most vile ways! All because we wore blue.
Max Hall was ABSOLUTELY right!
At the same time, I'm just fine if they win a game. I don't really mind, as long as BYU wins. But.... Isn't it nice when they lose a heartbreaker yet again and are left to celebrate the first place loser AGAIN?
Yeah, I'm gonna cheer against them forever! I have NO respect for that program.
